Mozambique plane with 34 passengers onboard goes missing!

A Mozambique Airlines (LAM) plane with 28 passengers and 6 crew on board has gone missing on a flight to Angola since friday, according to airline officials.

Flight TM470 left Mozambique's capital, Maputo, at 11:26 local time (09:26 GMT) and was due to arrive in the Angolan capital, Luanda, at 14:10.

The last contact made with the plane was reportedly when it was over northern Namibia.

The airline said there were signs it might have landed near Rundo, northern Namibia, bordering Angola and Botswana.

"LAM airlines, aeronautical and airport authorities are trying to establish contact to confirm the information," said the airline representatives.

Spokesman Norberto Mucopa told the AFP news agency he could not confirm the nationalities of those on board.

Olavi Auanga, police commander of Namibia's Kavango West region - where the plane was last heard from - told AFP patrols were searching the area.

The agency says the region is sparsely populated and covered with wetlands and dense forests.

Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomole before and After election!

This photo pretty much sums it all. Governor Adams Oshiomole told a widow to go and die. The same way our leaders have indirectly told us to go and die with all our needs as a nation.

Pastor T.B Joshua opens up on Jim Iyke and allegations that he stages his deliverance.

Pastor TB Joshua is the General Overseer of the Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN). In an interview with Punch he opened up on Jim Iyke and allegations that he pays people to come and fake miracles.

He said this about Jim Iyke:
Oh please, don't drag me into that. All I can say is that if a person needs to see a doctor, he should be free to do so. I like the young man. He has been defending himself on the internet. Is he not enjoying a better life now? Are things not working for him?
Here is his response on allegations he pays people to fake miracles:

How much will I give to the president of a nation to come here? Even when they come, I don't get any financial gain but I incur cost because I want to ensure that they are well cared for. That is all; I even prefer to spend my time with the poor than to be with the presidents. If a president visits this place today, the whole of the day will be devoted to that visit, I would have lesser time for the poor people, who need my attention. God has been warning me over this trend so much that when some presidents said that they wanted to visit me, I said no. I said it would be better for me to visit them in their countries. Each time they visit this place, I receive query from God because of my time that should have been used to attend to the poor and the needy that are waiting for me. One soul is not superior to the other, why should I continue to receive query? Really out of three presidents that may visit, there will hardly be one that will show good example of the counsel that they received from me. If the needy are more receptive to God, it is better to give them more of my time.

Court sentences one Lebanese accused of terrorism to life in prison + frees owner of Amigo supermarket!

The Federal High Court in Abuja today ruled on the case between the Federal Government and three Lebanese suspects arrested for illegal possession of weapons and connection with the Lebanese based terror group, Hezbollah.  The suspects are Talal Ahmad Roda, Mustapha Fawaz (the owner Amigo Supermarket/ Wonderland amusement park in Abuja) and Abdallah Tahini

The Joint Task Force (JTF) in Kano arrested the men on May 31 with a large cache of arms and ammunition in a bunker during a raid on their residence.

The suspects, who were previously in the custody of the State Security Service (SSS), were later transferred to prison custody following an alarm raised by the suspects that their lives were not safe in the hands of the SSS.

The arrests also led to the closure of Amigo Supermarket and Wonderland Recreational Center, both of which are owned by Mr. Fawaz.

However today, Justice Ademola Adeniji of the Federal High Court in Abuja acquitted and discharged Mr. Fawaz and Tahini while sentencing Ahmad Roda to life imprisonment.

I hope they re-open wonderland soon. Kids in Abuja have missed it terribly.

Iceprince explains why he denied having a son Initially.

They always deny, then quietly accept when the dust has settled....heheheheh. Such is the life of male entertainers in Nigeria who end up with unplanned babies from their casual flings.

Iceprince has an almost 2 year old son named Jamal. When the news of his love child first broke out in early 2012, Iceprince denied fathering any baby. Then we suddenly started seeing the photos of him showing off the cute baby all over social media.

In an interview with Entertainment express the rapper explained his reasons for the initial denial. Read below:

It was complicated back then, I didn't really know what was happening and I wasn't sure of certain things. So the best I had to do then was denying it and sort out things first. Now I know he is my child and I have done everything as a father ever since.

He said this about his current relationship his babymama, Bimbo Babatunde:

I speak with her often and it is usually about the baby. That is all for now.

Peter Okoye has a message for Emmy Collins.

Let me start by explaining that Emmy Collins is a mens wear fashion designer and blogger. His kind of blogging is more of analysing and criticising issues.

He wrote to condemn Peter Okoye's first outfit at his traditional wedding (photo above) recently and Peter didn't find it funny at all. Here is what Emmy Collins wrote.
If you guys don`t offer accolades to me for restraining myself from critiquing Lola and Peter Okoye during their wedding, I will claim it in Jesus name, Amen. Yes, there were enough talking points from that wedding yet I refused to touch them even to the extent that a few comments insinuated that I was playing what someone described as “Pasha”.
Well, I must say that Peter and the dudes on this image were totally off the mark when they decided to deck themselves in this hideous polyester kaftans.
As if the fabrics weren’t disastrous enough, the quality of stitching employed in putting it together compares with the worst I have witnessed so far considering the fact that it is Peter`s wedding for crying out loud and of course he is not short of a bob or two.
Before you move on to the next image, please work your eyes to the hemming of the kaftans especially that of the guys that are flanking Peter on the left and right.
See Peter Okoye's response below.

Why can't people just mind their business?

FG gives ASUU one week ultimatum to call off strike or face Sack.

The battle line is drawn! The Federal Government of Nigeria has given the Academic Staff Union of Universities a one week ultimatum to end the over 4 months strike.

According to reports, failure to call of the strike after the end of the ultimatum might attract a mass SACK of university lecturers.

FG ain't smiling no more o. Dear ASUU people, the Labour market waits you in one week. Heheheheh. Call off the strike and save your jobs......!

Latvian Prime Minister resigns over Supermarket roof collapse that killed 54.

Latvian Prime Minister, Valdis Dombrovskis resigned today, appearing to accept ultimate political responsibility over the collapse last week of a supermarket roof in the capital Riga.

Last week the roof of a supermarket under construction caved in killing 54 people and wounding at least 40 people. The incident is rated as one of Europe's worst roof-related disasters in several decades.

Dombrovskis was the longest serving prime minister in Latvia's history.

Police have opened a criminal investigation into the cause of last week's tragedy.

Preliminary reports indicate the roof caved in due to either faulty construction or building activities on the roof, where workers were creating a garden area and children's playground.

The president of Latvia, Andris Bērziņš has described the tragedy as 'Murder'.

**I envy countries where leaders take responsibility. 'Resign' doesn't exist in the dictionary of top government officials in Nigeria.

Amber Rose takes a swipe at Kim Kardashian.

Amber Rose is the wife of rapper, Wiz Khalifa's and also Kanye West's ex-girlfriend. She had a baby in February and is still struggling to get back into her pre-pregnancy shape. She subtly sent a message to celebrities who exhibit perfect post-baby bodies immediately after childbirth ( Kim is no.1 on the list).

She posted the photo above on instagram with this message.

"I'm almost at my goal weight. Just 7 pounds to go! Absolutely no surgery just diet & exercise. Most celebs give u false hope when u have a baby ( My son was 9lbs) and in 3 months ur supposed to be skinny again..... It's not realistic in most cases. It takes 6 weeks to heal before u could even work out. Anyway, the moral of the story is losing baby weight the natural way takes longer but it's much healthier for ur body and helps u stay strong to carry another baby. So don't put ur life at risk for societies standards of when ur suppose to lose ur pregnancy weight. Take ur time & don't take the easy way out - Muva"

Amber, you are so right. Kim K, we dey hail o.....lying to our faces as if we never born before!

37 people confirmed dead as gunmen attack 3 villages in Plateau.

The Special Task Force in charge of security in Plateau  on Tuesday confirmed that 37 persons were killed and five others injured in multiple attacks in Barkin Ladi and Mangu Local Government Areas.

A statement by Capt. Salisu Mustapha, the Media Officer of the STF, in Jos said the coordinated attacks were carried out around 2am on Tuesday morning by some gunmen.
Mustapha said the affected communities were Katu Kapang, Daron, Tul and Rawuru villages in Barkin Ladi and Mangu Local Government Areas.
He said, "The attackers killed about 13 persons in Katu Kapang, eight in Daron, nine in Tul and seven others in Rawuru. About five others were also reported to have sustained injuries.

"On receiving the report, STF personnel swiftly moved to the scenes to bring the situation under control but the gunmen fled on sighting the troops.
"STF Commander, Maj.-Gen. David Enetie, has visited the villages to assess the situation and he has vowed to fish out the perpetrators of this dastardly act."

The PUNCH had earlier reported that 32 persons were killed in the early hours of Tuesday in Barakin Ladi Local Government area of Plateau State when gunmen, suspected to be Fulani herdsmen, invaded three communities in the council.
Police however said 20 people died in the attacks. The incident came less than 72 hours after five people were murdered in Kukah in Shendam Local Government area of the state.

Our correspondent gathered that the marauders overran Gura Bwok, Fan, Heipang and Foron districts of the local government, killing villagers and burning some houses.
It was further gathered that nine people were killed in Gura Bwok; seven in Fan; 11 people in Heipang and five people in Foron.
Several houses were also said to have been razed in the attacks, which were said to be reprisals for last week's theft of more than 200 heads of cattle by some yet-to-be-indentified hoodlums.
It was also gathered that two Fulani herdsmen were killed by the cattle thieves as men of the Special Task Force tried to intervene.
Police Public Relations Officers, DSP Felicia Anselm, said the killings were in response to the theft of cows and the alleged killing of two of the herdsmen, said to be Fulani, by the cattle thieves.

3 escape death as Trainee plane crash in Illorin.

Angola bans the practice of Islam and destroys mosques!

By popular demand, Angolan authorities have taken pre-emptive action and decided to ban the Muslim religion, which they consider a cult, NOT a religion. They see what Muslims are doing to non-Muslims, especially in Africa, and are taking steps to prevent the same from happening in Angola.
In early October 2013, the Muslims living in Luanda in the municipality of Viana Zango were shocked to see the minaret of their mosque dismantled into pieces on the ground without permission. On Thursday 03 October in the morning, the Angolan authorities decided to destroy the mosque Zango located in the urban district of Viana 17 km. The governor of Luanda Bento announced in a radio spot that radical Muslims are not welcome in Angola and the Angolan government is not ready for the legalization of mosques in Angola.
And on Tuesday, November 19, the Minister of Culture, Rosa Cruz e Silva said. "Regarding Islam, the legalization process has not been approved by the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights. Therefore all mosques would be closed until further notice. " It should be noted that the Angolan government has made closing of all mosques a priority. The only two mosques located in Luanda have already received a warning document signed by the mayor of the municipality of Viana José Moreno.
The provincial governor of Luanda, Bento Bento, said on the airwaves of local radio that "radical Muslims are not welcome in Angola and the Angolan government is not ready for the legalization of mosques." Minister of Culture, Rosa Cruz e Silva explained that the law on freedom of religion will be reviewed given the current national context , noting that the Government will redouble its efforts to fight relentlessly against religious cults like Islam which are contrary to the customs of Angolan culture.

95% of Angola's population is Christian. A quarter belongs to Protestant churches founded during the colonial period, including congregational evangelical church.
This decisive action taken by the Angolan head of state is based on a desire to guard against the rise of the Wahhabi ideology that has created havoc, death and destruction in Africa and elsewhere. And as rightly explained Tunisian philosopher Mezri Haddad: "Islamism and Islamophobia feed each other. Worse, long-term Islamism as an ideology destroy Islam as religion. "
According to the International Religious Freedom Report 2008, Islam in Angola is a minority religion with 80,000 – 90,000 adherents, composed largely of migrants from West Africa and families of Lebanese origin. The Muslims comprise between 2.5 to 3 percent of Angola's overall population of 17 million people, most of them Christians.
in the last decade, but especially during the last few years the Muslim community in Angola has grown appreciably and Islamic activities have become more common in major cities. Mosques have sprung up in a number of places and Qur'anic schools have been built to provide Islamic instructions and teach Arabic language to adherents.
Public attitudes toward Islam have been generally negative. Cultural differences between Angolan and Muslim immigrants have been the basis for negative views toward Islam, as was the perceived link between Islam and illegal immigration. Since the September 11 attacks, there has been a deliberate attempt to link Muslims with terrorism. It has become a matter of routine at Luanda airport for security officers to detain Muslims arriving from Sahelian countries.
